Shipping Policy

1.0 Shipping & Delivery Policy 

1.1 Our aim is to prepare your orders and ship as quickly as possible, all orders should be processed within 24 hours of being placed. We use an array of couriers and Australian Post parcel services covering all Australian and New Zealand localities.

1.2  The delivery address should be the actual address for goods to be delivered, if the address for delivery is different to your home or office address please specify at the time of placing order.

1.3  You will leave at the time of placing an order your best phone and email contacts so courier or Australian Post or others nominated can contact the customer to nominate a delivery time. A person is required to sign for all deliveries if nobody is available to sign, a note will be left by delivery person indicating who to contact and where the delivery can be picked up from or for a new time for delivery again. Any costs associated with additional delivery attempts remain the customers responsibility.

1.4  “Delivery” of orders is taken to occur at the time that: 

a.  A customer or the customer’s carrier takes possession of the order at Y-Nott Industries address: or 

b.  Y-Nott Industries or their carrier delivers the orders to the Customer’s nominated address even if the Customer is not present at that address.

1.5  At Y-Nott Industries sole discretion the cost of any delivery is additional to the price at shop or warehouse unless nominated different and agreed between the customer (s) and Y-Nott Industries in writing. Urgent deliveries requested by the Customer, Y-Nott Industries reserves the right to charge the Customer any additional costs associated to complete such deliveries.

1.6  Delivery charges shall vary depending on weight or volume or destination. Delivery charges will where possible be determined at the point of sale. 

2.0  The Customer agrees and acknowledges that any fragile goods are shipped at the Customer’s own risk.  

3.0  Delivery times and dates nominated by Y-Nott Industries to the Customer are estimates only. The Customer must still accept delivery of orders even if late and Y-Nott Industries will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the Customer as a result of the delivery being late. 

4.0  Important: Online and all orders do not include shipping insurance. If uninsured orders are damaged in transit, not delivered or delivered according to tracking details, Y-Nott Industries reserves or maintains the right not to compensate the customer for that order or shipping costs or re-order or costs involved in rectifying a wrong delivery address, customers should address any issues to the courier and their insurer. Y-nott remains neutral in these occasions, but at our discretion, Y-nott Industries may assist the customer with relevant information that may assist to rectify the situation. 

5.0  Where the Customer requests Y-Nott Industries to leave orders outside Y-Nott Industries premises for collection or to delivery in unsupervised or unattended locations, then such orders shall be left at the Customer’s sole risk: refer to clauses 4.0 and 6.0. 

6.0  Important: the customer is responsible for received goods and to check that the order is complete and has arrived in an undamaged condition, Y-Nott Industries is not responsible for loss or damages once goods leave the dispatch point. 

7.0  Where the customer nominates a Post Office Box  for delivery of the the customer’s order, such orders will be sent via the Australian Post Systems.
